    Conductivity testing....

The electrolyte does not glow. The electrolyte is the solution. The filament in the lightbulb is what is glowing. It glows more or less brightly due to the amount of electrical current which passes through the solution. The more charge carriers (ions), the more current and the brighter is the conductivity tester.
