How do I find a chat room?

I know this may be a stupid question but I want to find a chatroom what I can, y'know, chat with someone. I am not looking for friendships, just people I can talk with.

I travel a lot for my job and I don't have very much time to talk with anyone. I spend a lot of time working on my laptop and so beside Facebook, etc. where can I do that?

I've googled just about everything and nothing seems to fit what I am looking for.

    chatroom avenue, they have bunch of catorgized chatrooms for just about anyone.
