Steps on being a caregiver for a family while getting paid?
My mom has alot of health issues mentaly and physically and she needs someones to care for her. I had to quit my job to take care of her and need to know if theres any way i can get paid to be a caregiver for my own mom and if I can be paid where can I apply to get paid do I go to a social security office or something I have a 2 year old son that I need to support while taking care of my mom so I need to know if I can get paid

Assuming you are asking if the state will pay you, no. If your Mom is able to get Medicaid the state might pay for some or all of her care but they will not pay a family member.

No. Medicare will pay for anything that is medical. But it won't pay for general care-giving. So for example, if you need a nurse to come out and give shots, they'll pay for that. But if you need someone to help with a shower, they won't pay for that.
You can probably get food stamps.
If your mom has no money, then you might be able to get medicaid to pay for a nursing home.
I think the whole system sucks. Most people end up with no inheritance because nursing homes take it all.

You need to research it for your state. Good chance there is nothing. In my state, I would have been paid a whole $30 bucks a month.

Talk to a professional guardian (not guardian ad litem). If your mother doesn't have the money to pay you she might qualify for medicaid.
