Why are the answers on Quora so much better?

I guess because the people take the time and effort to articulate their posts

It think Quora has a more seasoned adult population than here 👍

The participants there are generally older, better educated, and often professional experts in the fields in which they are answering questions. The categories include few frivolous subjects. There are a lot of kids in YA, a lot of people who just want to grouse about something, and a lot of people who want to talk about frivolous things. They're not looking for serious answers to serious questions

Because on Yahoo we get questions like this.
