    In a gay marriage there are no rules. You can follow any traditions you like or make new ones to accommodate your beliefs.

    The part of the bride being "given away" by her father is a very antiquated custom/tradition that's been falling out of favor because it treats the woman like the property of her father or that her getting married is by his choice. That tradition is fading out regardless of who or which gender she is marrying.

    yes, or no it depends entirely on what the women want since there really isn't any protocol

    In some of the services, one female acts as the groom and the other as the bride.

    If you both want to be given away then do it like that. Make your wedding day the way you want it. It's your day. It anyone else's.

    An assumption. As one of the two would be the "male" she would not be walked into the church. But, I assume, They make arrangements that are befitting to them.
