Are Filipinos nice or nasty?

For most nice. They were voted 3rd most friendly people in the world in 2017. On the other hand you start trouble. They can be very nasty. If you are going there the big crime is pickpockets. All under 15 years of age. As the Philippines has limited juvenile detention. Over 15 they go to jail. Manila taxi drivers love to overcharge tourist. These are the big crimes. Wear no expensive items. It is easy to make friends there. All kids stick there hand out for a coin at sight of a tourist. Hoping for a coin. Even rich kids do this.

They are nice. I am very glad to admit and well pleased (not proud because Pride is a sin) that I have Filipino relatives on my grandfather's side of the Family. Also my grandfather was Filipino and while I never met him because he passed away before I was born, my mother said he was nice (my Filipino grandfather is my father's father). I know that my grandfather is with the Lord Jesus now.

Very nasty. They tend to be backstabbers, gossipers, and can't seem to change their "crab mentality" attitude, they tend not to admit their faults and they use their emotions to think instead of their brain to do logical things, thats why the Philippines is still poor even today. They are so proud of being "pinoy" yet they migrate to another country instead of helping to fix their own country... Quite embarrassing really.

I only met one who is a Christian. She is fun, nice and it is great to be in her company.

the NPA can be a bit of both - nice to poor people and workers, but nasty to the government and capitalists
