I re added my ex boyfriend back on instagram & every time I put up a picture why does he always like it? Now he liked a pic from Nov?

We were going out for 7 months & then he broke up with me. I still love him and miss him. He told me that he wasn't ready to be in a committed relationship & he said he didn't want to hurt me. So we ended things. I started crying and told him that I don't want it to end and I will always love him no matter what. He said that he still wants us to be friends and gave me a hug and kiss and wipped my tears. I said I can't be friends w/ someone I love. So I deleted him off of all my social media accounts so I could get over him faster. He still has a pic of both of us on his instagram and a video of us. 2 months after we broke up he started going out with another girl & posted pictures up. Now about 2 weeks he deleted there pics and left one pic of them up together. I added him back last week on instagram and ever since then when I post up a pic he likes it. He is a up and coming rapper and he posted a little clip of his song I liked it and messaged him saying I like the beat and it sounds like it's going to be good and he said yeah thanks it is and I have good ears. I told him that he was welcome & he didn't say nothing else back. I also tagged him into a rapping contest for rappers on instagram last night and he liked the post of what I tagged him in. By him liking my pics do he miss me or is it his way of wanting to try to talk to me or don't think about it too much? Please answer this and no rude comments. Thanks. By the way I'm 22 and he's 23.
