Was Newcastle beating Luton in the FA Cup a giant killing?
In 1990 Luton were in Division 1 and Newcastle were in Division 2 so you would expect Luton to beat Newcastle, but Newcastle won. Would you say this was a giant killing or would Newcastle need to have been a league or 2 lower in 1990 to consider this a giant killing?

No because even then Newcastle were considered a bigger club than Luton and a sleeping giant.
