What degree should I pursue before joining the Air force?

Update:

I have read about how advancement is granted to E2 or E3 depending on the amount of previously earned college credits from an accredited school, however I am unsure as to which specific fields would qualify. Do you know of a field the Air force may be interested in?

Depends on what you want to do in the Air Force. You can get a degree in nursing and come in as an RN, 2 LT. You can get a degree in accounting and come in and do finance. You can get a degree in anything and there often is a related job. But do not expect to get a degree in English Literature and come in as a lawyer.

For the enlistment promotion, any credits from any accredited college or university count. It doesn't matter at all what degree or courses you take.

Any of them as long as you have the credits.
