Can I fire them?

I was closing up nMy restaurant. When I turned around, someone had stolen my bag of cash. The only people in the restaurant at the time were 3 employees. Can I fire them?

    If the cash bag came from the registers and you're a manager yes you can.

    If you're not their boss then you can't fire them but, you should report the stolen cash and who you think stole it.

    yes you can; however there may be unemployment compensation claims as a result of this and you may be charged with unemployment compensation charges.

    You should have locked the doors until you had the money in your hands. Then the one that took it his punishment would be up to you.. police or sausage grinder..
