If im summoned for family court and didn't show up..what is the likelihood of a warrant being issued?

    Probably a .02 chance. The judge would just see that you didn't give a damn and rule against you and rule in favor of the plaintiff.

    Doubtful they'd issue a warrant, you'd probably just get ruled against.

    If you are summoned, it is not a request it is an order, so yes very likely

    Anytime you ignore a summons you are very likely going to get a warrant.

    Depending on the issue they may give you a "second chance" if you contact them ASAP and have a valid reason you skipped out before issuing a warrant. But if not it is almost 100% guaranteed that you either have or will have a warrant issued.
