Can I get my damn sweater?
Oh wise Yahoo Answers, settle this for me.
She just broke up with me a few days ago.
I gave her one of my favorite sweaters (nice color, it's baggy, and it fits my forearms well).
I want it back, due to the above reasons.
Yes I do miss her, but I am not wanting to do this just to talk to her, if that were the case I would just ask her to talk.
Can I get my sweater back? Is it immature or some ****? Is it petty? I just want my green sweater.

You gave her the sweater. That means it is her sweater.
When people break up, one or both of them may decide to return gifts. Or not. It's not done to demand them back.

Text her and just politely ask her if she would leave it on the porch or by the door or whatever.
