Are foreign banknotes with red and blue lines real or fake?
I just got some uncirculated foreign banknotes today that I bought on ebay. They're all uncirculated and I noticed that most of them have little red and blue fibers on them. They all have watermarks and all feel rough when you touch them. I've received banknotes like this before. Whenever I tried to look up if the foreign banknotes with the red and blue lines are real or not, I would always see websites on how to detect counterfeit US money and not foreign currency.

Once you touched them without gloves you decreased their value
Without knowing what banknotes you are referring to its impossible to say

Guess what...you just devalued the notes by touching them. The "uncirculated" part was what made them valuable...if at all.
What banknotes? From what country? Are you talking about fibers in the fabric of the note?

Well, you need to know where the currency is from, you can't just search "foreign currency".

How could anybody possibly say whether banknotes from an unknown country and unseen are fake? Is this the psychic network? Who buys money on ebay?

you will probably need to take it to a bank that deals in foreign currency to see if it bogus
