What could be wrong with me?
I am a 19 year old female, 5'7 and weigh 112 lbs (126 a few months ago). I have lost 14 lbs in just a few months and I have been trying to gain weight (eating high carb and protein diet) but it seems I am only losing weight. I also have a headache on the left side that does not go away and at night time it gets worse with really bad nausea. I try my hardest not to throw up because I know that will only make me lose more weight. I also have constant ear pain in my left ear and also some ringing or popping. I am also always hungry, it wakes me up in the middle of the night and I can never stay full. Ive been to the doctor a few times and they have given me IVs told me I was dehydrated did some blood work and sent me on my way. I have also been tested for the flu and strep twice in the last 2 weeks both were negative.

you need to see a dentist about the ear pain or headache. could simply be due to tension in your neck screwing with the nerve that runs around the ear and side of head or you may be grinding your teeth at night.

Go see a doctor. I have a feeling you may have a thyroid problem. My siste, mother, and girlfriend all have had problems with their thyroid, and my girlfriend had to have hers removed. No prob, there are synthetic thyroid replacements if this is a problem, but I am just reminded about how their malfunctioning thyroids caused them to continually be underweight and feeling always malnourished, and having awful migrane headaches. Good luck.

I would tell you to go to a different office and see a different doctor.
. Have your blood work and tests sent to the new doctor
Sit down and write everything out.
When did it all begin. What your weight was. Keep a journal of your headaches. When they happen, how long they last, what medication you take for them.
A headache with nausea can be a migraine.
Dehydration can cause a headache.
With pain in your ear this also could be sinuses. An infection.
You may want to see an ENT doctor,
Start by monitoring your water intake for the day. No pop or energy drinks.
Give your new doctor this data. It will be clearer than you trying to remember everything while in the office,

If you haven't had your thyroid checked, you might try that. You might have a hormonal imbalance somewhere, which could be causing headaches and weight loss. For example, I am a 52 y.o. chick who is recently coming out of menopause. I had migraines which I'd never had before, for about two years, once or twice a month. They were accompanied by awful nausea too. I read that menopausal women can sometimes get migraines, which I personally attribute to the hormonal changes.
Long story short, get another opinion, ideally from a specialist.
