Is it okay to take acetaminophen with indomethacin?
I can't seem to find anything definite online so I was hoping someone on here could help me out if they know about it. Or know someone else who would. I was prescribed the indomethacin, but would it cause any trouble to take Tylenol (which is acetaminophen) with it to help with any pain?

It's really not necessary to take both, because the indomethacin and acetaminophen work the same
way, but the indomethacin is much stronger. Taking the acetaminophen would offer no additional benefit,
but may contribute to more side effects, upset stomach, etc. Medications like indomethacin inhibit prostaglandins
that cause pain and inflammation, but unfortunately, also inhibit protective prostaglandins in your stomach
in the process. So taking them together will not really hurt you right away, but may increase your
risk for stomach problems if you are prone or susceptible to them, if you were to take them everyday.

you need to ask your pharmacist or your doctor that question, that would be more accurate than any answers you can get on here

Yes, you can take the two together. Indomethacin is an NSAID, Tylenol is a different kind of pain reliever.
You don't want to mix two NSAIDS (indomethacin, naproxen, ibuprofen, aspirin) though.
