Soda Replacement?
Recently when on a diet and quit soda cold turkey. I have found that giving up the flavor of soda was easy but as it turns out I really miss the carbonation. Are there any low calorie carbonated drinks that don't taste like garbage. Keep in mind I am not talking about and diet soda or things like coke zero. Like good brands of flavored sparkling water and such. Thanks for the help.
Also small extra question- Is ginger ale soda?

You won't miss the carbonation, you will miss the sweetness and flavor. Look for some sources of no-calorie additives you can put in for flavoring. Lemon juice or lime juice, or any fruit juice will work. You might also try freezing your water until it forms ice crystals. I have found that I love soda, or water best when it is frozen but not to a solid state - to a slushie state I can just break up with my hand. The tickle you will get from the cold will give you a similar sensation as the bubbles. Give it a try.

Kroger makes a flavored sparkling water that has no sugar or artificial sweeteners. It's technically not flavored, it's scented and our brain just makes us think it's lemon lime or whatever. Schweppes makes an amazing sparkling water that doesn't have that weird after taste most sparkling waters do if you don't mind the price.

Yes, ginger ale is a soda. So is ginger beer, even...just stronger flavored.
Have you tried tonic water, or club soda? The latter can be refreshing on a hot day, or you could mix a little fruit juice into it.

Add about I part pure, unsweetened fruit juice, to three parts sparkling water,

LaCroix is popular where i live. A lot of different fruit flavors. They usually come in cans and you can buy a 12 pack.
Ginger Ale is soda. Sorry.
