Who knows man. I personally think Foreman would have beat Tyson, and Lyle gave Foreman a hell of a fight. But Lyle gave Foreman problems after Ali whopped him and tko'd him.

Maybe prime Foreman would have beat him.

Tyson was certainly more explosive and faster than Lyle, also had better defense. But Lyle was bigger and maybe stronger.

Tyson wins this by KO. Ron was a tough fighter who hit very hard, but in all other respects - speed, quickness and punching power - Mike is the superior boxer. We saw how he struggled against an aging Muhammad Ali, who despite his average punching power, nearly knocked Ron out. With prime Mike, Lyle would be dealing with his speed, explosiveness and that devastating power. It would be too much for him.
