How can I remind my mom?

I'm going on a road trip with my childhood friend next year. I told my mom and she was supportive. She seems to have forgotten about it. When should I remind her so she won't add more obligations to my life? I'm 24

You are 24... you don't really need to "remind" your mom.

If your mom adds "obligations" that you don't want to do, you are free to say "no"... obviously, that might come with consequences.

at age 24, you DO NOT need to remind mom of your travel plans. She is under NO LEGAL OBLIGATION to provide any financial support to you since age 18, and if she lets you live at home, that is her choice. She can kick you out AT ANY TIME, and you have no recourse, so your best bet is to work hard and save money for your trip expenses, and BE NICE to mom so she MAY want to help out for your trip costs.
