we're losing our freedom every single day?

guys this is so messed up i am really worried about our freedom.

yesterday i made a sticker and apparently they're not going to approve it in CSGO.

back in the day in CS 1.6 i used to make all types of wall sprays and stuff and show whatever content I wanted; now they have so much guidelines in content and whatever.

man wtf is going on with our freedom of speech being violated man. what is going on man. back then u could be creative and it brought awesome content like NwA, PAC, Wu-Tang; now there's these dumbass guidelines. Our freedom is gone

    Freedom is still there.

Some stuff they regulate.Does not mean we are losing our freedom.

It just means some stuff is not what it used to be.

You need to learn what "Freedom of speech" actually is.

It's a commitment by the _government_

    that _they_

will not restrict what you say as long as you do not break any laws in the process.

It has *never* applied to privately owned places or businesses; they make their own rules.

That includes all non-government web sites & internet services such as online games.

Each has its own rules and any that you have to agree to as part of joining or signing-up for are legally binding on you.

They can ban you - or prosecute you, if you annoy them enough - for any breach.

The law has not changed much in that respect in around 30 years, since "computer misuse" laws were introduced.

[I totally agree that some "Politically Correct" people are over-the-top zealots, apparently competing to see how much they can declare inappropriate - but with private companies it's no connection to freedom of speech.]
