BQ1: Do you think Prince is a better guitarist than Hendrix? (I think he was better technique wise and Hendrix was just as innovative).

Hendrix is better all around. Prince had his band that helped him with his music. Yes he wrote most of his songs. But his band helped get the right tones. The bass line for When Doves Cry for instance. You can write an amazing song. But unless you have the right music accompanying it, the song can go south really fast. Hendrix did eveything he did in such a short period of time. Prince had his entire life to dedicate to his craft. But both where amazing guitarists. And Prince is right about his record company. 1000% right. Hes not being a diva, hes speaking the truth. You dont get to where he got to, by speaking from your as*. Or by not speaking at all. He knows whats rightfully his. Princes top albums: 1999, Purple Rain, For You, Around the World in a Day, Prince, Controversy. Basically everything he did from 78-89. He got too weird with his stuff in the 90s. And by the 00s he had completely lost what made him who he was.
