Fix up a room in your parents basement. You'll be there for a L-O-O-O-O-N-G time. Considering the hours that delivery cyclists put in, they don't make squat! You don't get paid by the hour, you get paid by the delivery. So it might come out to LESS than minimum wage.

Don't rely on this for any long-term income. Learn a TRADE! American companies are literally screaming for skilled workers in fields such as welding, carpentry, heating & A/C specialists, pipe-fitters, electricians and even my old trade...trucking! A skilled worker can make $60,000 or MORE their FIRST YEAR! On a recent episode of "This Old House" on PBS, local construction & rehab builders set up a job fare to recruit local high school students. One company stated that within 3 years, his workers were making OVER $100,000 a year.

Your choice...minimum wage (or less) pedaling your way around town or $60,000 a year to start.

I did work for domino's pizza at 1 time. The only disadvantage is they give credit for mileage.

How many hours per week? Way too many. Definitely over 40 for full time employees. Pay after taxes? What pay? Spare change that might jingle in your pocket. Good job if you're into sadomasochism.

Love the excessive rudeness from Jerry! We can't all be Trump supporters and casual racists!

Taxes would be the least of your worries. If you are asking this question it is very unlikely that you would ever earn enough money to actually need to pay taxes

I'm assuming you're talking about a bicycle courier service. In today's world of technology bicycle couriers are quickly becoming extinct. Anything you paid in as tax you'll get most of that back because your income will be considered in the poverty level. If you plan to make a career doing this, I hope your parents don't have a problem letting you live with them. You won't be able to afford a place of your own.
