    Just use the conversions for distance and time, watch the units cancel themselves:

    23m/s * (1km / 1000m) * (60s / 1min) * (60min / 1hr) =

    82.8 km/h

  • 23 m/s =

    23 * ( (1/1000) / (1/(60*60)) ) km/h

    23 * 3.6 km/h

    82.8 km/h

    -----------------------------------------------------

    82.8 km/h < 135 km/h

    23 meters/second (60 seconds/minute) * (60 minutes/hour) * (km/1000 meters) = 82.8 km/hr.

    So that is not exceeding the 135km/h speed limit.

    There's a really quick conversion. Just remember there are 3600 secs. in 1 hr., so use a factor of 3.6.

    (23 x 3.6) = 82.8 kph. Well under the speed limit.

    You can also use 3.6 to convert from kph to m/sec by dividing kph by 3.6.

    Easy?

    23m/s= 82.80000kph

    m/s -> kph

    kph =

    m/s * 3.600000

    kph =

    23 * 3.600000

    kph =

    82.80000

    1km = 1000 metres

    1 hour = 3600 seconds

    so 23*3600/1000

    Cars can't go that fast.

    133,253 km/hr
