Can anyone give some motivations for writing?
Seems like I couldn't write anything which it wasn't like in the past. I studied both a genre (black comedy) and political philosophy, and yet, here I am, stuck.

If you are a writer you will write. If you are not a writer all the motivation in the world will not induce you to write. Writing is an avocation, not a vocation....

Then find something different to study. You might be in need of something that expands your mind and ideas instead of the same old stuff.
