What made Satan choose evil?

Satan (as far as I can tell) had no idea what would happen - the evil and corruption that would follow.... nor did the angels that were also cast out of heaven.

In this way we actually have a huge advantage.... this may be why God lets us experience evil.... this may be the very reason for suffering on the planet.....

Because by experiencing evil here.... we will never, ever want anything to do with it in the afterlife. We may still have the choice.... but we will know about what pride does and never eat of that tree of 'I think I'll decide for MYSELF what the difference is between good and bad'.

SATAN was one of GOD finest creation and was to rule over mankind and have dominion over the earth,but through jealousy thoughts came into his mind to be above GOD and bow down to or worship and so HE rebelled against GOD.HE then challenge GOD that if given a time HE would win the hearts of mankind and be worship and so GOD granted HIM a time of of his choosing to do as he so wish and so the time that SATAN chosen is the time in witch we live in today known as the last days or end times and may even be said as SATAN TIME.with all the teak knowledge and the means to control every thing SATAN will use such things to destroy mankind.SATAN knows quite well that the time that was granted HIM by GOD is coming to an end and will use any means to unleash his fury upon the earth and mankind his last and final attempt to destroy GOD CREATION before the return of JESUS CHRIST.

Same reason Batman chose to hit individual criminals in the face instead of doing something to reduce crime in general, like improving education.

If satan wasn't god, god would have to stop satan from doing satanic things. Otherwise god would be just as guilty.

Evil doesn't exist according to atheists. So what Satan did, he may have not necessarily found it evil
