Does God grant us the ability to repent, or is it of our own doing? ?
If it’s God who grants repentance, then what does he take into account before granting it to us?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 year agoChristians, what do you think of Calvinism? ?
I feel like it’s a self defeating argument. You claim God predetermined who would be saved and who wouldn’t. So why create some people just to be doomed?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 year agoDo we still have to obey the 10 commandments?
Did Jesus fulfill the commandments of the Old Testament? If so, does that mean we do not have to try and obey them anymore? Do we still need to keep the sabbath holy?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 year agoWhat is being sprayed in the sky by air planes?
I’ve always been a sky watcher. I’m noticing more and more trails of white smoke being left behind planes as they go by. I know a condensation trail when I see one and this is not what that is. I notice that on a clear day. Planes will start flying in front of the sun and before you know it. It’s overcast. Any information on what is being sprayed and who is behind it? Thanks!
23 AnswersAstronomy & Space1 year agoOn the day that Christ returns, what will happen to those who are driving and flying airplanes?
I imagine an airplane pilot being jerked out of his plane to go to heaven while some of the passengers wait until the plane crashes and they die? How will this work?
The Bible says when Jesus returns, the dead in Christ will be awakened and meet the lord in the clouds. Meanwhile the ones alive in Christ will be caught up with them afterwards.

What do YOU believe in.
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 years agoHow did the name lucifer, become tied to biblical character Satan, who rebelled against God?
Makes no sense to me. Satan from the Bible is said to be god of darkness and evil. The name lucifer means to bring light. It’s the exact opposite. The Bible only uses the name lucifer once. To describe a morning star. Which I believe is referring to Venus.
Why would an entity who is god of darkness, be given a name that means light?
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 years agoDo we go to heaven immediately after death, or after the second coming of Christ?
Seems Christians cannot agree on this. I believe from what I’ve read so far. That we are attached to the physical body and cannot live or exist without it. So after death. We are dead and are totally unconscious and unaware of anything. Like a deep sleep. Then when Jesus returns, all bodies (even the wicked) will be raised and then every knee will bow to Christ. That is when the ones who were saved, go to heaven and the ones who weren’t. Die again and have their bodies burned along with this earth and never exist again.
32 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 years agoWhat motivation did the Bible writers have to lie? How would it benefit them?
The only reason I can think of is control. Make the good people turn the other cheek by being told that their kingdom/reward awaits them after they die. All while they get enslaved as humans and accept it thinking they will be rewarded for eternity.
59 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 years agoWhat made Satan choose evil?
25 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 years agoHow was Satan able to commit sin while in heaven with God. When it’s supposed to be sin free?
He wanted to take God’s spot. He was greedy. And he rebelled against God. So if he was able to do it. Will we be able to sin when we get to heaven? And also, would that mean we’re getting kicked out?
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 years agoChristians, do you really want to live forever?
I know heaven is supposed to be perfect and have no pain. Only happiness. But... for all eternity? Are you sure that’s what you want?
33 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 years agoWhat if God is all of us?
Imagine a being that is conscious in a realm outside of time. All knowing. All powerful, and everywhere at once. He is bored and decides to play a game of hide and seek. So he creates little versions of himself and places them in a realm subject to time. So what we have is. A God who is playing hide and seek with himself but he is the seeker and the hider. He is tying to find and experience himself through the perspective of all of us. Because he IS all of us and we are all him! He is all there is.. he is everything and everyone spectating life through billions of eyes.
Like when you have a dream.. you see people and places you may have never seen before. Then you wake up and realize that was all just you. So when we die in real life it’s like a small part of this God.. wakes up! Or picture a droplet of water compared to the ocean.. they are the same thing, and when you put a drop of water into the ocean. It goes back to its main source.
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 years agoGod said: “let there be light” on day one. But the sun was created on day 4?
What was used to govern the day/light before the sun?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 years agoHow do I become a pilot?
I only have a high school diploma. Would like to go to school and take some flight classes but I do not have the money to do so. From what I read. They are pretty expensive. I did just hear that the amount of pilots in the U.S. is at an all time low. So maybe that is a positive for me! Any help is appreciated
