Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.+
2 Now the earth was formless and desolate,* and there was darkness upon the surface of the watery deep,*+ and God’s active force*+ was moving about over the surface of the waters.+
3 And God said: “Let there be light.” Then there was light.+ 4 After that God saw that the light was good, and God began to divide the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, but the darkness he called Night.+ And there was evening and there was morning, a first day..
The book of of Genesis start off say God created the heavens and the earth. Sun, moon, and other planets are spoken of the heavenly bodies. Is states that earth was filled with water. God said let light come to be not the sun showing the sun’s light would penetrate and cause daylight and eventual the night showing now there can a calculation a the first 24 hours and calling it a day, the first day.

Ask yourself--does light only come from the sun? If not, then the concept of light was created before the sun.

Light existed billions of years before the sun according to astrophysics. In fact, light existed almost right from the beginning and the first stars only existed 200 million years after the big bang. So assuming that the sun is the only source of light in the universe would be folly, considering that astrophysicists say otherwise.

He had a new LED display he wanted to show off but by day 4 battery use was so high and costly he went for a fusion reactor instead and made the Sun.

Good question!
As astronomy teaches us through real observation, that stars come into being before the planets surrounding them come into existence the scenario in ur bible is physically impossible. The earth simply can not have formed before our sun ignited its fusion.
In conclusion, either all astronomers in the 20th and 21st centuries lie nonstop, or the bibles wrong. U decide.

Many people determine age of the earth to be in the millions based on the calculation of light to the distance of stars, and thus assume that the universe was made billions of years ago; but in creation we see God made light before the stars. The radiation, the warmth, the energy was put in place flowing where it needed to go before even the stars were made. It is a good thing too, because without it, with the current rules of the universe, we'd all die frozen if we weren't blanketed in said energy. Is it so confusing though that one who is making the universe can do it as he desires? There is also symbolic reference in his first dividing the darkness and light, as if it was the most important element of creation.
