Can someone tell me why my computer is doing this?

Not sure how or why this is happening. I take good care of my computer and I've never dropped it. I've had it for almost 2.5 years.

Around the 1.5 year mark, when I would tilt my screen inward or outward, everything on my screen would have this bloom effect which made everything look brighter. Some time later, it started to flicker every once in a while and each flicker would happen so far in between each other that I ended up ignoring it.

Getting close to the 2 year mark, it started to do what is in the picture. The first time it happened I thought it was permanent and that I had to get a new computer. But after literal poking around the screen, I got the screen back to normal again. I found that between the bottom left corner and the hp symbol in the bottom middle, if I were to push in the middle between those the screen would return to normal. I'd put money on something being loose internally, but I don't know what.

Now, it happens quite frequently. Several times a day. Sometimes it happens randomly and sometimes when I tilt my computer.

If you have picked it up by the screen part and not the keyboard part, this may have damaged the wires at the fold, connecting to the screen. That is what happened to mine and I had to get a new one :(

That could indicate that your RAM is gone bad it could indicate that your CPU is overheating or it could indicate that your graphics driver is messed up boot up to safe mode or better yet boot up and live version of Linux and see if it does it in Linux if it doesn't do it in Linux you have identified that you have Windows system corruption and need to reinstall Windows if it does do it in Linux then you know that it's a hardware issue and can start preparing to buy a new computer
