While you might not be eligible for social security disability benefits because you haven't worked and paid social security taxes long enough that doesn't mean that you might not be eligible for SSI disability benefits. You could register to get help with vocational rehab. They can help you use your skills in employment that is not so anxiety provoking. In the US, it is a free service offered by every state.
