How much would this help me get in?

My top school if University of Washington. My scores are above their average score in all categories in terms of GPA/ACT but I know a lot of people from my school with similar scores that are applying. If my dad is a legacy, a member of the alumni association, donates a couple thousand a year, and has football season tickets, will that help give me an advantage over the other students from my school that are applying?

Legacy status can help, but whether it will is very unpredictable, very uncertain. Your father's not a major donor, so whether you'll get any kind of advantage is very much up in the air. Maybe, maybe not.
