Powder and dry skin do not mix well; the powder will make the skin look more flaky.

Don't use powder if you have dry skin. Set your makeup with a spray instead. There are plenty of drugstore ones that are awesome today. Hard Candy's, L'Oreals, Nyxs, etc... Use a good primer for dry skin too and stick to liquid foundations that have luminous and dewy finishes not ones that are matte and rough.

Marcelle translucent loose powder is good and it’s only $10 for a lot of product. It’ll last awhile too.
