The U. S. A. is supposed to be a self-governing nation of the people, by the people, and for the people.?
Can the citizens of the U. S. A. be trusted to govern themselves? Is a new "form" of government needed?

The people can be trusted. Government flunkies and hall monitors can't be trusted to let them.

Nothing is perfect. Fix what is wrong by applying a better solution when it is possible. Simply rejecting a faulty system because it is not perfect, and replacing it with something (anything) else, is a very poor idea. The replacement likely will be even more imperfect. Get more concrete if you want to talk replacement. It's like the old famous saying: Democracy is the worst form of government except for all of the other forms of government that have been tried.
What do you suggest? An autocracy led by Jack?

If you read the Constitution (I know, I know, don't make me think)
you will see that we are NOT self-governing and that the Founding Fathers knew the problems with the crowd mentality.

Neither. The governing bodies talk to us only when they have to, because we seem to fly off the handle every time one of them tries talking to us like adults. That means they operate while missing a key aspect of oversight.
It'll continue until something explodes and we'll vow never to do that again, only to do it again and again and again. We're humans. We can't help it.

Versus what other form of government would you suggest, a monarchy?
You realize the form of government used in the USA has been in place and working fine for 242 years?

Someone doesn't like the question...it was moved at least once from the appropriate category. Show some respect and answer the question.
