Vegas casino/hotel on the cheap? Would strip or Fremont be more likely.?
What is the possibility of getting a room late on a Friday just for a night at the hotel check in? If a casino hotel does not have all rooms reserved/booked/sold would they work a deal? Not looking for 5 star, just a place to lay my head for the night.
On the cheap, meaning; for less than hotel bookings .com etc.

Neither, best to head west away from the strip about 2 miles then you will find the cheap motels.

Define cheap?? Yes it is possible to get a last second room on a Friday, but you may have to try several hotels depending on what is going on for the weekend. Negotiating a deal on the fly isn't going to happen unless if you are a major gambler at the casino.
