I have moved, how do I know if the IRS sent an ID Verify letter to my last address?

    They sent it t the last address they have for you. If you didn't let them know of an address change, then they wouldn't know.

    If you told the post office where you went the mail would be forwarded to you.

    if you sent a #8822 to IRS to change the address they have they would send to the new address

    The only way might be to call them. If you lose out on any mail from the IRS due to moving, it could balloon into a big problem as years go by.

    When you moved, did you send the IRS a change of address form 8822 like you were supposed to?

    Have you used the PIN on prior year forms?
