Should children be made to wear school uniforms?

Yes. If left to their own devices they all inevitably end up wearing the same jeans sneakers and tee shirts.

Having a uniform helps their parents and teachers tell them apart :)

The theory used to be, that if they are all dressed alike it was more difficult to tell which ones were poor and which were rich. But in my day you could quite easily tell which ones were so poor they didn't have proper bathrooms.

I think it is silly.
