You need to have the ABS brakes scanned for codes. An OBD II code reader won't pull ABS codes. You likely have a bad front wheel speed sensor.

Hi so simple logic says the abs has a load of issues.

Check for trouble codes with an ABS scan tool. Wheel sensor/s are likely bad.

Job for a Hyundai dealer. I expect one of the ABS hub sensor is faulty.
