Not with rocket technology. It would take too much fuel, since in effect you're nearly hovering, for hours/days while lifting.
But yes with a space elevator. That's basically the entire concept of a space elevator. It doesn't waste energy hovering, the cable holds it up.

Riding a space elevator is not like riding an elevator in a building. Even if you could move at a pretty good speed of 100 m/s, it would take over 4 days to rise to geosynchronous altitude. The "elevator" would have to be more like a moving hotel room.

Yes. But that would take more fuel than blasting off quickly. And when you got to space, you would fall right back down. The earth's gravity is still there. In order to go into orbit, you need a velocity of about 17000 mph.

Yes it is possible and it has been done. Using a Balloon. One Idiot when to the edge of space and jumped out. But to go out into space itself you need the reach escape velocity. That is overcome Earth's Gravity.

It would. You'd need a constant thrust to push against gravity - but... it's *possible*.

In principle yes. But you'll run out of fuel before you make it above the Karman line.
