What do you think of Electric cars?

junk, you burn coal instead of gas and it takes 8 hours to refuel them instead of 2 minutes like a gas car and you cant have AC in an electric car

They are ok

no range , up to 7 hours to recharge them , $6000 for a new battery so a risky buy used, just push pollution out of the cities to the power stations actually waste electricity so unless we generate ALL electricity from renewables like solar they will cause brown outs or even blackouts all over the country , they will only work well when a new battery technology is invented

The one thing I noticed the other day after seeing that metallic leaf decal... was that there was no muffler...

This was right after a souped-up Mustang that kept backfiring to the roar of cheers of the people riding in it...

I guess it all just is what it is.

I can't picture any kind of future-gen huge truck or muscle car being electric.

America is about extremes, capitalism, and running Earth to the ground perhaps.

they are a danger to pedestrians because you can't hear them coming. As for me - forget it .

They are good for fleet vehicles and commuting, as long as they have a good 8 to 12 hours per day minimum downtime to recharge their storage batteries.

I like them.

They are good, because they don't pollute the environment and they run on electricity, which is cheaper than petrol and diesel.
