Follow up to previous questions. I looked up baby fry traps wit the bottle what do they do? Does the fry get in their by themselves?

    They keep fry away from adult fish in the tank.

    Some people put pregnant fish in them which I don't recommend as it stresses them out, but you can catch the fry and put them in there.

    Mosquitofish will drop fry every month or two, even if you don't separate them from the adults you will have a huge population in a year or so, so I wouldn't honestly bother trying to separate them.
