    Examine the limit from the left of -1

    lim x-->>-1- f(x) = lim x-->-1- (x+1) = -1+1 = 0

    Examine the limit from the right of -1

    lim x-->>-1+ f(x) = lim x-->-1+ (1-x) = 1-(-1)= 2

    SInce lim x-->-1- f(x) is not equal to linm x-->-1+ f(x)

    The limit does not exist

    B. 2

    Plug -1 one into the second equation because it fits into the rule to that equation. 1-(-1)= 2
