    For a 20 year old, it's bad. For a 70 year old not on medication, it's good.

    The top number is high.

    The bottom number is normal.

    I wouldn't necessarily be worried. The bottom number is more important than the top one. As long as the bottom one is normal. The top number being high by itself usually means you're temporarily stressed out.

    137 is high. 120 is considered "normal." 80 is considered normal for diastolic pressure.

    If your BP consistently measures this high, then you need to see a doctor for ways to lower it.
