    x=5^m

    5^(m+2) = 5^m times 5^2 = 25 * 5^m

    = 25x

    Depends on whether you mean 5^m+2, or 5^(m+2).

    5^m+2 = x+2

    5^(m+2) = (5^m)(5^2) = 25(5^m) = 25x

    5^(m + 2) = (5^m)(5^2)

    = (x)(25)

    = 25x

    x = 5^m

    Expression is correct as entered

    5^m + 2 = x+2

    Entered expression is missing parentheses

    5^(m+2) = (5^m)(5^2) = 25x
