Should I still talk to him after he lead me on?
He and I went out for a bit and later told me his ex messed him up so he wasn't looking for anything. He didn't lead me on but I was upset he didn't tell me he wanted something casual early on. I felt for a second like a rebound so I called him out on it and he said it wasn't like that. I stoped texting him. It's been 3 days, I miss talking to him as friends. Do you think it will be weird to stay as friends? I just texted him how he was doing. I'm worried.

I don't see how there would be a point, to say what you said to him while calling him out, ignore him for 3 days, only for you to suddenly contact him.
But you're right; his intentions and what he wanted should have been clearly stated from up front. ALSO, it's also your responsibility to make sure you know what you're getting into. So, you should have asked a bunch of questions about his intentions and what he was expecting from you.
