    They can be crunchy but do not have to be. They taste like whichever flavors you add.

    Yes, but since they have raised squares, they have a variety of different crisp areas, which makes them appealing.

    Waffles taste like pancakes but they aren't as soft as pancakes. I personally like mine a bit crispy on the outside but not burnt. I take them to work for breakfast sometimes and I reheat them by putting them in the toaster.
