did oath by yahoo or did yahoo buy oath when logging into yahoo answers something from Oath Privacy policy comes up?

    Verizon Bought Yahoo and then they are changing the name to Oath you have to Read the new TOS Terms of Service and then click I accept

    Oath was created by Verizon. Then they stuck Yahoo, AOL, Tumbler, and other properties they own under the Oath umbrella.

    Yahoo was sold to Verizon last year, and Oath is the new umbrella company that Yahoo and some of the other businesses now owned by Verizon, fall under. There's a lot of questions and info about in it the Yahoo Products - Other subcategory.

    Yes, to continue using your Yahoo! account, you will have to agree to Oath's Terms of Service (which are very little different from what you were already dealing with under Yahoo alone).
