What specific policies implemented by Republicans have helped African Americans?

For those too ignorant to know history from 55 years ago, the Civil rights bill passed the senate with 93% of the Republicans voting for it, and only 34 % of the Democrats. When you have been brain washed, you should not post it.

They abolished slavery. It sure the heck wasn't the Democrats. They fought that amendment 'tooth & nail'.

Your question cuts to the crux of the matter. Republicans don't target their policies for specific groups. Republican policies are geared to benefit everybody.

A tax cut for every taxpayer like Bush did is designed to help everyone. A stronger economy helps everyone get a job or a better job. African-Americans included.

I can think of only one. The abolition of slavery. The GOP came into existence for the primary purpose of abolishing slavery, and that job was handily taken care of by the very first Republican president. It was only after that that the GOP became the party of the rich who only wanted to be richer.

Modern Conservative republicans have done nothing to help African Americans (specifically). Back when they used to be "liberal" and "progressive" maybe you can credit them with one or two things, but they always were and are white supremacist along with democrats.
