If you support the electoral college system, does that mean you support whoever gets your electoral vote?

For example, are blue state Republicans pleased they elected Obama, twice? How about red state Democrats, are they happy with their current president?

Whether you have an electoral college or not, you're still going to end up with about half the electorate who didn't get the outcome they wanted.

I do not support the electoral college. It is hopelessly outdated, overly complicated, not uniform from state to state, and therefore prone to all sorts of jury rigging.

It was a good system designed for different times. In recent times, it has failed miserably now, twice in the last 16 years .

It either needs to be greatly overhauled or scrapped entirely.

Yes, Hillary won California and when it went on the board along with Oregon and Washington I realized Trump won the election right then as he led in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Hillary was Trumped hard.

Do you ALWAYS support whoever wins the election for mayor where you live and EVERY other elected office?

Support for the METHOD of choosing representatives has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with supporting individuals that are elected,

Of course not. But you respect that that is the system and that is how it works, even when it doesn't give you the result you want.

Mostly. However, this time the losers are over the top. In the future, I will not.

No; Hilary got the electoral vote of my state; I did celebrate at the end of the night, however!

When the Hilary campaign canceled their fireworks at 19:30 hours, I knew something great was up.
