Do you think governments can resolve mankind's problems or do we need God's Kingdom?

Well seeing how governments have screwed up mankind, since the USA has driven out all references to God? I am old enough 86, to have lived in the USA back when God was still here, and reverenced. Time were MUCH BETER than they are now. I dream of those days of NO school shootings, no criminals in government places, and other peaceful things. and times. Back then, we could walk the streets of downtown without being assaulted, robbed, beaten, or raped. People were FAR, FAR, less violent, More honest, dependable, etc., I fondly remember the time we never locked our front door when we lived in town, people would either knock until we opened the door, or they'd go away, if we weren't at home. They wouldn't go in a rob the place. When we had a date with a girl, she and her parents knew she was safe, wouldn't be raped. How would you like to be able to live like that, today? You could do so, if the country would have a new, gigantic revival for Jesus Christ. And,, reopen mental hospitals like we used to have, for those who couldn't live in society, safely. Oh, well, we are near the end times, and the Bible prophesied such as we have now, it won't last too very long. God Bless.

Earthly governments cannot solve mankinds problems, on God's Kingdom can do this. Below is what God's Kingdom will do on the earth for righteous mankind.

Jehovah has wonderful things in store for those who love him! Just look at what his Word says about life on the Paradise earth after this corrupt system is did away with. 

Plenty of food to eat: “There will come to be plenty of grain [or, food] on the earth; on the top of the mountains there will be an overflow.” Psalm 72:16. 

Good housing: “They will certainly build houses and have occupancy.” Isaiah 65:21. 

Enjoyable work: “The work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full. They will not toil for nothing.” Isaiah 65:22, 23. 

No sickness: “No resident will say: ‘I am sick.’” Isaiah 33:24. 

No disabilities: “At that time the eyes of the blind ones will be opened, and the very ears of the deaf ones will be unstopped. At that time the lame one will climb up just as a stag [a male deer] does, and the tongue of the speechless one will cry out in gladness.” Isaiah 35:5, 6. 

No pain, sorrow, death: “God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4. 

No war: “God is making wars to cease to the extremity of the earth.” Psalm 46:9. 

Everlasting life: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.” Psalm 37:29.

The kingdom of God is within, not without. Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world; if it were, My servants would fight to prevent My arrest by the Jews. But now, My kingdom is not of this realm.” “Then You are a king!” Pilate said. “You say that I am a king,” Jesus answered. “For this reason I was born and have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to My voice.”…

We need God's kingdom. Scriptures tell us God steps in before mankind destroys the Earth and each other.

People need to make an effort to prevent chaos. It's not right to say it's all in God's hands and then walk away while the sh*t flies.

Mankind's problems will only continue to get worse not better if we continue to think we can govern ourselves better than our Intelligent Designer can.

Pretending god is what got us into such a mess to begin with.

You can't fix a problem by causing more problems.

It would depend on which problems you refer to. The government can't resolve people not liking each other.

God's Kingdom is an unfounded assertion....

For the most part, each individual has to solve their own problems. Governments have a role to play but that is a limited role. Relying on God is abdicating one's responsibilities.
