Legionnaires disease, Hep A. Flushing toilet with raw sewage potentially.?
There is construction going on nearby and they had to turn the water off where I work. They turned the water back on. I went to use toilet but noticed it looked discolored. I flushed it and it still looked discolored. I then for some really stupid reason that I don't understand decided to smell the inside of the toilet. It did not smell good. My question is should I be worried about my stupidity of smelling that? Thank you.

The color is from rust. Its virtually impossible for sewage to get into a water line.

I would wait it out a day or 2, then go right to the construction and ask what all they have done for toilet sewage, and the other normal sewage lines being put in. It makes me wonder just what came out of the taps?
