Actually it's not quite that many. But there have been over five billion since the introduction of the printing press. 2.2 billion have been given away for free by Gideons alone.

No god distributed those bibles. Man did. So what? You know how many copies of gone with the wind were printed around the world or in how many languages? What about 50 shades of gray? Not impressed. And im pretty sure that as an atheist, ive read the entire bible and know more about it than most any christian.
