The minimum age to purchase a gun should be raised to 25. Agree or disagree?

No matter what age you are "A NUT should never be allowed to have a gun:

I disagree vehemently. If a person is able to defend his/her country at a lower age, they should be able to own a gun.

Why would you want to punish others for the misdeeds of others.

This is like saying people below the age of 21 cause the most automobile accidents in the United States, therefore we are gonna raise the legal driving age to 25.

It is amazing to me that all killing in the United States are related to guns and when a shooting happen, the nuts immediately run out of the woods and want to place a ban on guns or limit the right of gun ownership in the United States.

When an accident or killing is done by cars, not a peep. When a stabbing is the cause of violent death, not a peep.

When a deranged person goes on a rampage and kill people, the gun nuts immediately appear and want to limit the rights of legal gun owners.

No one from the NRA was involved, yet the gun nuts attack the NRA an the legal gun owners.

You would need to think for a minute or two if that is possible. All the laws you want to enact that limit or prevent a legal gun owner ability to own a gun. The lawful person would probably obey any gun laws enacted.

How many criminals and deranged individuals are gonna obey any gun law enacted. These are the individuals that are killing people, not NRA members or other citizen that legally own guns and properly register them according to state laws.

I believe that all gun laws that have been enacted in the United States and upheld by the supreme court are illegal. The second amendment state very deliberately that there should be no laws enacted that would infringe on this law or amendment. Perhaps the judges and supreme court and everyone else should look up the word infringe.

There is no age limit in the second amendment. I am also sure the smart people that wrote and signed the second amendment knew that there would be advancement made in the making of weapons and muskets would be improved on. So to say the second amendment did not include automatic weapons is a not accurate.

If they let people drive a car at 16, how can they deny the ability to own a gun? Teens kill more people with cars.

Nope 16 because a vehicle can do more massive damage. Besides it is not the guns or knifes that is the problem it's the people that uses them !!!

Ban the sale of all weapons of mass destruction to anyone. But have a two tiered gun ownership licenses for teenagers, 13 through 17, and adults 18 yo and up. Similar to what we have for cars with the learners driver's license.

And sell licensed guns for hunting, targeting, and self-defense to adults who pass appropriate screening. And the same for teenagers, but none for self-defense, only for hunting and targeting. And the licensed teenagers can only use their guns in the company of an adult who is also licensed with a gun.

Disagree. There shouldn't be age restrictions on buying a gun.
